MARCH

Well we have had a busy week. My Sister and her three boys along with my Dad came up to visit for a week. It was nice to have a house full of visitors, it always makes a house feel more like home when kids are running around playing and having fun.
Andrew was able to celebrate his 10Th birthday while family was up. We had a Ice skating Celebration then returned home for Pizza and cake along with a lot of Rip sticking (not sure that is an actual word) He had a BLAST and said he was so thankful his cousins were at his party, and I'm sure he will cherish those memories for years to come.
We also Celebrated Baby Lily's, soon to be arrival, with a Baby Shower. There was lots of pink, family and friends and again we really enjoyed spending the time together. We were blessed this weekend, as we were able to partake in the painting of baby Lily's room. Lots of Pink :) It was pretty cool that me, My brother, My sister and my Dad were all able to help out and be a part of that.
Zach started an Organic garden in his back yard and is hoping that he will have a bunch of fresh fruits and veggies when baby Lily comes.
This week is Spring Break for the kids, We will have an entire week w/o school and are very excited by that. My Niece Alena will be arriving today to spend her Spring Break in Pensacola.

Overall it has been a very busy Month and I am sure the rest of the month will be just as busy.

Kris is still working hard to finish his 500ton schooling and is hoping to be done by September of this year and be able to get that licencing.

I have been working at my New Job as an Nurse Administrator for about 3months and am still enjoying it and the hours.

Andrew is playing Baseball and his team is undefeated and hopes to win the tournament they will be planing the beginning of April. He is playing short stop and absolutely loves the position.

Kayla is hoping to begin Dance or piano lessens in the near future not sure which one yet, but I know she definitely wants Dance over piano but we will see.

TILL NEXT TIME: LOVE TO ALL

On and On and On we roll

So Monday was my official first day at work, and I must say I love it! Things went great. I worked from about 8:30 am until about 12:30 and loved all the people. I keep thinking to myself this can't be true, a job I like, with perfect hours, and amazing pay.....Seriously,this makes me a major advocate of college. I kinda felt like it was all a dream when I was in school and never realized that one day I would be actually working and getting paid, what I felt I was worth, and.... to be quit honest it still think it's to good to be true. Anyway I think I will be working Mon, wed and Fri for about 3/4 hours each day depending on my work load, things are great and I couldn't be happier with my new job..
Kris is back out to sea tomorrow morning. We got to spend a nice, but busy, week together. The week always seems to just fly by, while the 2wks drags on forever but isn't that they way the story goes.
Andrew is excited about the upcoming district race for Pine wood derby. He has also been attending Skate Church a few Sundays a month and is really enjoying it. He Say's he cannot wait for his cousins to visit so they can join in the fun.
As for Kayla...Yeah... not sure what has been going on with her lately. She has become a little snot in the past few days. Hopefully this will pass quickly :)
Till we meet again.....

Tuesday, January 26, 2010

Well I am very happy to say that I think I finally found the perfect job for me and my family. I am not sure when I start or what the official hours will be, but I have been busy all week preparing, I have gotten fingerprinted, drug tested, and had a tour of where I will be working and a brief job description. I am very excited to start and cannot wait to see if this indeed is the perfect fit, It almost seems to good to be true. I have been told I will be working part-time and can work around my schedule, I will be visiting pt's homes and observing there caregivers care for them and doing a short evaluation of there services. I will also be teaching a class to new caregivers on how to care for there pt's in the safest way. The pay is amazing and at an unheard rate for a new Grad, so again I cannot wait to begin and hope it all ends up as good as it sounds. Of course as soon as I found a job I have had more calls for interviews, isn't that the way it always works.
Andrew has signed up for another season of baseball and is excited to begin playing once again, he is also still doing Scouts, but hating every moment of it, but mom is making him stick with it bc I feel it will be a great accomplishment for the future. He is getting his report card home today and we are all hoping for A/B honor roll but not sure it is going to happen..we'll see.
Mommy has signed Kayla up for ballet and we are both excited for it to begin, I have waited years to watch My little girl dance around in a pink tutu..he he. Kayla is loving school and has many many friends, she is always helping the teachers and the littlest kids in the class, she is def a little mommy.
Kris is due to be home this Wed and we are all very happy to welcome him home, he has been missed alot these two past weeks, and he gets to be home for pine wood derby for scouts!
We have found out we will be welcoming a new little baby niece into our family towards the end of may and are soooo happy about the addition of a little girl to our boy over run family..We are all ready for the adventures to come.

Job Interview

Well today I have a Job interview and I am so hoping, not only for a perfect fit, but that they choose me :) or maybe just that they don't have anyone else to choose from. The only thing I know is it is a part-time job and it's for a company called home instead, everything else is a mystery but I am very excited and optimistic. We shall see what happens.
