Well the holidays are almost over. I seem to be wanting to just hang around the house with the kids and spend time enjoying all there new toys. The season really seems to just drain me and when it is finally all over I find myself wonder what just happened. It all comes and goes soooo fast. We had a wonderful visit with my two step -sisters, hubby's and Niece. Spent 3 days straight at my moms house just enjoying our time together and was even able to have my Niece for a sleepover. The kids were very happy with all their gifts and Andrew even said "mom we are so lucky we get so many presents"
We are now looking forward to the New Year and the events that are to come. With the most exciting one to be the addition of my brothers first child, everyone has their fingers crossed for a little girl, our family really needs some girls to balance us out, but of course we will welcome another boy with open arms. Also with me to hopefully start a new job in the next month or two there are going to be some big changes around our house. My biggest fear is that once I return to work this house will fall apart and the kids will start to not do as well in school . But the reality of it is everyone Will probably do just fine and we will survive it all. Like we always have. We wish you and your family a happy and healthy new year and remember to surround yourselves with the people you love and want to spend the coming year with.

The Hoilday Season
Wow how fast the times seem to just come and go, We decided, after much deliberation, to celebrate our Christmas on the 23rd this year. You see Kris was to be out to sea for Christmas this year and I couldn't fathom waking up Christmas morning and it being just me and the kids....too sad. So as the story goes we spent all month preparing for a most pleasant Christmas, putting up lights, decorating the house,Wrapping present, Baking cookies, Shopping, singing Christmas songs, being sneaky, and trying to find new hiding places as the kids are getting older an it seems hiding gifts is quite the challenge. The kids had a blast and of course seemed to be very surprised and happy with their gifts. Drew 's favorite present being his new half pipe from mommy and Daddy. Kayla's choice seems to change each time she is asked. As for Mommy I got a long time wanted flat screen T.V and a Espresso maker, yum yum....We enjoyed being able to spend the Holiday together and could not feel more blessed and Thankful for our happy and healthy family. We are now excited to celebrate the rest of the year with Family, as both my Step-sisters and their hubby's are up for a visit along with my Niece. We also have new additions to the family we are enjoying, with baby Ryan, who is now almost 4 months, Also Zach and Amber expecting a little one at the end of May. Life is good!!!! Hope everyone has a happy and Healthy holiday, enjoy each other.
